New English-language master’s program Mindfulness and Leadership

Starting in the winter semester 2023/24, Fresenius University of Applied Sciences will offer the new master’s program Mindfulness and Leadership (M.Sc.) in Berlin. The English-language program combines the topics of mindfulness and leadership. This is the first time the program has been offered in this form in Germany.

Structure of the master’s program Mindfulness and Leadership

The new Mindfulness & Leadership (M.Sc.) degree program is designed for four semesters and consists of various modules led by experienced lecturers in the fields of mindfulness and leadership. The modules cover topics such as mindfulness in everyday leadership, stress management, emotional intelligence and neuroscientific foundations of mindfulness. Students are taught how to develop awareness of their own mental health and well-being, as well as how to unlock their leadership potential. They learn how to develop different types of mindfulness training and how to scientifically test their effects.

Upon successful completion of the Master’s program “Mindfulness & Leadership (M.Sc.)”, graduates will have in-depth knowledge of mindfulness research, a broad knowledge of management and leadership, a comprehensive repertoire of tools to promote mindfulness, compassion and empathy, and will be able to develop customized solutions in the context of Mindful Leadership.
